Well Hello…
My name is Reine Keis Bayoc, and I am the founder and creator of the Love and Magic Kitchen.
In December of 2008, I opened a charming bakeshop called SweetArt in St. Louis, Missouri, with my husband, Cbabi Bayoc. He is the art. I am the sweet. And vice versa.
For the past several years of owning SweetArt, people have asked me for recipes. Very tricky. Not because all recipes are unsharable, but because I’m an intuitive cook and baker. My recipes are conjured from dreams and memories and nudges from ancestors. I pray it will always be that way. When I am in the kitchen, I listen. That is, in my opinion, equally as important as knowing what to add and when and how. And I (finally!) always trust what I hear.
The Love and Magic Kitchen blog is designed to liberate the inspired and carefree cook inside of you…not necessarily to give you a recipe. Food needn’t be elaborate to be luscious. And only you know what pleases your palate. This blog was created to help you remember that cooking is about trusting yourself…exploring…and tapping into your internal intuitive cook.
Along with operating SweetArt, I travel the world as a private chef catering small and large gatherings. I’m also an instructor for those desiring to learn more about preparing plant-based meals. If you’d like to schedule a consultation, private or group class, or catered event email me directly at: loveandmagickitchen@gmail.com
grace & peace,
Reine
You’re AMAZING and I love your café! You should consider opening food up all day, many of my friends and I would enjoy that. We are all vegan. THANK YOU for your magic.
